Solved Editor Mode problem

Post by KidSasuke on January 28th 2014, 11:00 pm

So my members have reported to me that when they go to reply to a topic, the editor box looks like this by default. I have tested it out and found out this is true.

I'm aware by pressing the "Switch Editor" button it will show up the editor box again. Although, I want it so that it show up like this and not being closed by default.

Also, I use to be able to like see pictures in the editor mode when I pressed it and it would look like this, but now it just collapse its self down until I click it again.

Code:
/*TextEditor*/

.sceditor-container textarea {
    color: rgb(255, 255, 255) !important;
    background-image: url('http://i57.servimg.com/u/f57/13/06/81/38/logoed10.png') !important;
    background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
    background-position: center !important;
}

div.sceditor-group {
  background-color: #171717 !important;
  border-color: #171717 !important;
}

div.sceditor-toolbar {
  border-color: #027BCC !important;
}

.sceditor-container {
border: 2px solid #027BCC !important;
border-radius: 7px !important;
}

.sceditor-button:hover {
    background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #027BCC !important;
}

DIV#textarea_content {

  width: 750px !important;
  height: 200px !important;
}

/*Text Editor END*/

So Google chrome is causing that to happen with the editor box, correct?

It could be the reason.

Try using a different browser.

Okay, I've tested the editor on IE and Firefox. Both of those still give me the same results with the editor box being closed by default and even when pressing the button, it won't switch correctly.

Hello,

Can I ask if the problem is about code problem display when you switch on WYSIWYG mode on the editor?

Yes, it doesn't seem to be functioning properly or something. When I try to switch, it simply closes up and take a few clicks to reopen back up. Sometimes it only opens back up half way.

The editor has still a few bugs which was already into the notice of technicians.

I suggest you to report the problems here, include screenshots so we can notify the techs, thanks.

Okay, thank you, Jophy. I've reported my issue to that topic you posted. If that's all we can do for the moment, you can lock this topic now. Thank you both for your assistance.
