Forum Founder problem/switch
I am an admin in a forum but the founder and co-admin barely even logs in, let alone do something with the forum. I was wondering if there is a way for me to buy credits, change the domain and access other areas of the control panel where its by default "access only by the founder".
I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thanks in advance.

The founder is not absent like that.
The founder logs in once in a while only to post in a few various spam threads. I could still try but my case would be deemed invalid
The founder must be absent for at least six months and one day.

You can try sending a PM to Buttercup and see if she can do anything, otherwise you would have to contact the owner of your forum and see if they would hand off the foundership

If the founder is still logging on the forum, you will not be able to change the founder account. The founder has to be gone for 6 months and 1 day.

Yeah, I saw that.
So the only way is if the founder agrees? And if they do... then what happens? How does it work?

Re: Forum Founder problem/switch
If the founder wants to give someone else the founder account, all he/she has to do is give the new founder the log in information to the founder account. The new founder then can change the information. Also the old founder needs to tell the new founder the log in information for the forum utilities, so the new founder can change the email address.

Re: Forum Founder problem/switch
Is it okay for me to access the founder's account (with their permission) but the founder account to still remain "theirs"?
You see... since the founder still logs in once in a while I don't want any major agreements/fights between us.

While its never a good idea to allow multiple people access to the founder account there is no rules against you accessing the founder account if you have permissions to do so from the founder.

Thank you very much.
I don't have any more questions on this matter, unless you have something to add.
