Solved Multiple Portal Pages

Post by Winter Aspen on January 31st 2014, 11:17 pm

I'm helping a friend out with her forum, and I was wondering how to make multiple pages of the portal. Like, with the little tabs that bring you to a new page, but still contained within the portal (ex: incandescence.forumotion.com). She's using the PhpBB 2 platform. I've tried creating multiple pages in the portal management section, which works, but they don't actually exist, for lack of a better phrasing. In the admin panel, it has the pages lined up right, portals are enabled, but on the actual site, you only see the first portal page. It doesn't give a way to click to another page of the portal. Here's her site's address, but I don't think she has the portal enabled right now: thezodiac.forumotion.com.

Thanks in advance.

Well, by creating more pages in the portal management in the Admin Panel, you could grab the link by pressing the small icon to the right (as the picture below shows)

By pressing that, it will take you to a new tab that will show you the link to that page.
You can copy the link and place it somewhere in the forum so that members could still visit that page.

Also, to define one other page as a portal to your forum you have to press the Define as default page button to make that page the default portal. Now in the picture below you can see that the portal is with bold letters and has a - where the others say Define as default page. That page is the default portal. If you press on an other page to make it default, the bold and the - will go to that page..
