Solved Allign help.

Post by exploitgeek on February 3rd 2014, 7:36 pm

Hello i'm new to forumotion. but have some knowledge of scripting.

I have recently installed a theme from HitSkin.
and i am having issues with centering the header from the forum body. i have header set to center, but to no avail.

the site in question is the following

http://thehardcoregamers.forumotion.co.uk/

Ignore lack of content, as i'm just starting out and what to get the site looking right first. and help would be great.

Many thanks.

Hi,

I don't think you can center the header from the body, it's an image. Can you please post a screenshot explain it? Thank you.

Regards,
Sir Chivas.

Code:

This is how My CSS now looks.

Code:
div#logostrip #logo {
display: block;
float: center !important;
}
div#logostrip{
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url('http://s3.archive-host.com/membres/images/1696114791/parties_thems/template_decouper_etc_01.png');
width: 878px;
height: 260px;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
.row2 .icon{
padding-left: -8px !important;
}

Did not resolve my issue. unless i have done something wrong?

Many thanks for your quick reply again, Chivas

Stuart.

Remove my code and from this code that you have there:
Code:
div#logostrip{
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url('http://s3.archive-host.com/membres/images/1696114791/parties_thems/template_decouper_etc_01.png');
width: 878px;
height: 260px;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}

Replace it with this:
Code:
div#logostrip{
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url('http://s3.archive-host.com/membres/images/1696114791/parties_thems/template_decouper_etc_01.png');
width: 878px;
height: 260px;
margin: -10px;
padding: 0px;
}
