Post by Rhino.Freak on February 8th 2014, 10:07 am

Yo fellas, how you doing?

there is a problem as you can see.. can someone help me get the code box to look neat?
The Select Theme text should be the size of the text (and in the same line too) and the drop down should not be over flowing

please try to help on this via CSS .. thanks a lot in advanced!

ps: can someone also tell me how to add polls to widgets like in here?

Solved Re: Code box messed up

Post by Teed on February 8th 2014, 7:11 pm

Hello,
try the following code:

.code {
background-color: #D3D4D6;
border: #AFAFAF;
border-radius: 3px;
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px;
box-shadow: 1px 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,0.31) inset , 1px 1px 0 #afafaf;
color: #868686;
font-family: Trebuchet MS;
font-size: 11px;
line-height: 125%;
padding: 5px;
}

Replace these codes as you need:
background-color: #D3D4D6;- background color.

border: #AFAFAF;- border color.

box-shadow: 1px 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,0.31) inset , 1px 1px 0 #afafaf;- color "shadow".

color: #868686;- text color.

Exactly the codes just remove the border and the white around the boxes, not the white in the boxes. Are you wanting to remove all the white area?

Code:
dl.codebox {
        background-color: none !important;
        border: none !important;
    }
dl.codebox.spoiler {
        background-color: none !important;
        border: none !important;
    }
If this does not work then add the code to the top of the stylesheet.

sorry to report it still hasn't gone yet.. It is on the top of CSS too.

its not getting removed, is there any way to make this white area into a color of my choice? (the brown-maroon one so that it doesn't look different from it?)

Hi Rhino.Freak,

If the background color is not changing then are you using anything to modify its color ?

That white is from the background color, and this css should change it unless something else is modifying it.
Code:
.codebox { background:#ff0 !important; }

yes that made the whole white area yellow!!

I managed to get that yellow to match the color in between, but its still not a good solution..

like this spoiler:
its pretty simple, without any annoying lines and all, just text and a good box

:/

This has lots of lines and disturbances in it.. thank you Ange for removing the white problem +1 for that.

Add this to your CSS to see if the dt borders are removed :
Code:
.codebox dt { box-shadow:none; border-color:transparent !important; }

It does not exist.

Try removing the border :
Code:
.codebox dt { border:none !important; }

This should help fix the text transformation :
Code:
.codebox.spoiler dt { text-transform:none; }
