In progress Adding a Comments Section

Post by Isobella Lestrange on February 8th 2014, 10:13 pm

I'm near that this is a coding issue.

I want to add a comments section below each topic post in the forum. This way, whenever a post is posted (mine is a writing forum), people can comment about if they liked the story or not and their suggestions.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks.

Are you referring to the quick reply? You also could use the blog feature.

No, I wasn't referring to the quick reply...

What does the blog tool do?

Okay. I think I have a more specific way now...

It may help you to help me! Smile

I activated blogs and configured with that.

(This is what I want.)

However, there are some issues:

Issue #1: I want the list of topics/blogs to look like that of the forum. (Ex. I don't want it to list the first post. I want it just to list the TITLE.)

Issue #2: When people comment back, their profile pictures are HUGE and take up the entire space, out of the box.

Do you know how to fix these?

Second Reminder:

Please don't double post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead!

Why would the quick reply not work for that you want?

It won't work, because I want the "comments" and the "posts" to be separate from each other.
