How can I add color in Staff's posts?

I have tried to add color on staff post following this tutorial https://help.forumotion.com/t126792-background-color-and-text-color-by-rank?highlight=color+messages without result? My forum version is phpbb2.

I checked your forum and your rank only consists of an image. I did not find the class needed to make the script work. Add this to your rank title :

At further inspection it appears your rank title is a HTML comment. If that is the case, then this is the reason why it is not working.

Well the code will have to recognized the rank. There should be some kind of code around the rank title.

What we mean is copy the entire contents of your rank title, and paste them here. Your rank title must contain the proper selector for the script to function. If it is not present or hidden using an HTML comment then the script will not work.
