You have to disable the Mobile Site in your forum. For that, you can use a Javascript created by LGforum. @Avacweb
Simply create a new Javascript and tick it In all the pages.
The first time you visit it, you'll experience a small redirect.

HELP ME! Whenever I try to access a forum on my iPad, no matter what forum, even this forum, I can't go to the desktop site, and I can't log in! It just started today, and I can use the Puffin web browser, but I do not want to!! It started when I deleted the cookies of my forum! When I try to go to dekstop site, it goes to myforum/undefinet or something, please HELP!
Re: cant pull up my website on my ipad?????
I've been using forumotion on my iPad for a couple of years now and have not encountered this problem until today. I am unable to go from the mobile to the classic site version, log in or, go to the homepage while in mobile version. I get the same white screen that says "You can return to the index..." I have to agree with Dominick that Tonight is incorrect about the issue.

Actually, I'm correct. A member in my forum had this problem too with an Apple device, forcing forum always to desktop version fixed the problem.keyara94 wrote:I have to agree with Dominick that Tonight is incorrect about the issue.

Re: cant pull up my website on my ipad?????
I'm just saying that there is more than likely another solution and no reason to get rid of the mobile version of the site or force to the desktop version. A few of the people I chat with frequently on my site use the mobile version. Your solution does work but, which is good but, it's not a long term solution. I haven't had this issue until today so, it's not like it's a bug that's always been around.Tonight wrote:Actually, I'm correct. i am in agreement with Keyara.... i do not want to change the configuration of my site with a bandage. My users are used to its setup......there has to be a fix to this problemkeyara94 wrote:I'm just saying that there is more than likely another solution and no reason to get rid of the mobile version of the site or force to the desktop version. Temporary solution is better than no solution for a long time.

Re: cant pull up my website on my ipad?????
That's very true. I just hope we see a real solution soon. Coding just looks like gibberish to me so, that's a no go for me, unless someone would explain.Tonight wrote:Temporary solution is better than no solution for a long time.
