Grid style problem!

Post by VoxThePie on March 1st 2014, 11:49 pm

Hey People!!

Here is the picture:https://i56.servimg.com/u/f56/16/60/78/37/dadada10.png

So there we go at last i did the grid style in my forum but i still have simple problems
First one is when i try to make a space between each table it won't work i tried with cellspacing=""
but it didn't worked and i tried to add also a new posts sign behind each table when someone make posts inside them like it shows a sign
New

And also another problem here when i click on the action button on the top of the topic it shows for me some options i want them to hide i move the mouse away from the action button or if i click away

Hi Very Happy

I replied to your other topic Smile.

Anyway, seeing as you still want the new post function, you should play around with this portion of the code:

Code:
<span>
<!-- BEGIN switch_topic_title -->
<a href="{catrow.forumrow.U_LATEST_TOPIC}" title="{catrow.forumrow.LATEST_TOPIC_TITLE}">{catrow.forumrow.LATEST_TOPIC_NAME}</a><br />
<!-- END switch_topic_title -->
{catrow.forumrow.USER_LAST_POST}
</span>

You can actually declare a name for the tables you did and use that code or modify it to your liking without tampering most of it. Say:

Code:
<td="la" />

You can change the ID tcr into la and the new post will appear there.

Note: You have to repeat the Forum New, Locked, Image code in the template for it to work.

Another thing, instead of 'cellspacing', try <br /> instead.

Lastly, the whole thing with the 'Action' confuses me. Do you want it removed?

Regards,
Pizza Boi
