First topic message reminder :

Hello

Many users have issue with emails:

1- Some users don't receive notification for "Watched topic, New member registration,..." (Thanks for explaining in which situation(s) you get the problem)
2- Some users receive notification and email in Spam box (Thanks for explaining in which situation ex: notification for newsletter, new regsitration, watched topics,...)

3- Some users receive emails or notification with strange title:

- Url of your forum
- Short explanation of your problem (1/2 or 3)
- A screenshot of the problem if possible

Member has ensured preferences are set ok and still not receiving email notifications.     As another trial she has registered again using her husband's email address and of course another username.    We will see if she gets any this time!    She has confirmed again that she gets notifications from all the other forums she is a member of - mainly Proboards and yuku (?) not sure of spelling.     She is a dedicated poster and I hope you can sort this problem.

Edit to add - the member has just informed me she is getting email notifications come through to her husbands computer (under his email address) which is also a btinternet.com (British Telecom)???

After you got your member's agreement, please apply her husband's email to her first account. As you will have the same adress on two accounts of your board, you need to do it yourself through Admin Panel.

Expected result : No change, your member will receive notifications for second account but not first one.

Unexpected result : She receives notifications on both accounts. If this should happen, your member would have to switch back her own adress on her first account. This step will have to be done only by your member herself and manually (no copy/paste).

She does not want to use her husband's email account at all.  She wants to use her own.   I was just trying to see if any notifications would come through using another BT email account.    I have asked if she can use her husband's email account and received a reply...."No, it is not possible I only did this for the purpose of doing what you asked me to".     So the problem is still how it was on Day 1.  Please help.

This test was only to check if she could receive notifications on her own account with an email which already receives notifications from the same board.

This way we could know if issue is coming from her email or from her account.

We do not ask her to change definitely her email.

I am sorry this is not possible.    There is no issue whatsoever with her email account, there is only an issue with email notifications from my forum.     She is a member of other forums as I've said, but never has any problems receiving email notifications from those.

It seems there is no issue with email notifications from your forum since she receives notifs for her second account which uses the same email provider.

As i noticed she does not want to use her husband email at all, and i also noticed she does not want to try, just try what we suggest, ask her to change her second account email to place her own email.
This step will have to be done only by your member herself and manually (no copy/paste).
If she can change her second account email, we will 100% know how to solve her issue.
