Pro Admin #821 Ads appear on the registration form/Ads appeaing in the wrong places

Post by masesm on March 7th 2014, 12:28 am

First topic message reminder :

This does not happen all the time (obviously), but in this case, one of my members was registering, and they could not fill out the form because the page was blocked by an ad. I know it is not a script I put in their (since this does not happen all the time), so it is obviously a bug. It happened to me once on the Internet Explorer, and this member reported it on Google Chrome, so it happens on multiple browsers.

We sent an email to our ads provider. For the moment, they just said they will make the necessary things to correct the problem. I don't have more information for the moment.

Let me know if you still have the problem Smile Thanks

Ok thanks Buttercup, I indeed still have the issue when using my regular account (I have set it back so that ads are disabled for Admins and Mods in the acp, so the problem can not persist on my admin account).

As I stated on my last post (the one where I answered whether I was viewing from classic versionor mobile version) I get that ad.mobile for a split second before it redirects to a random page, so it is that particular url/ad that is causing the issues.. It never seems to be the same page twice, so it is truly random. Any more info they need, please let me know and I will get it for them.Smile

Just wanted to let you know this is still happening. It seems to be less frequent now though.
