Solved Colouring a Single Link on Navbar

Post by Derri on March 7th 2014, 8:12 am

Hello,

I have a single link on my navbar called 'Launch Promotion'

I've tried some various combinations of CSS to make it change colour but I've been unsucessful.

How would I go about changing this one link to a different colour?

Hi Derri,

Try this CSS :
Code:
.menu a[href="/t195-launch-promotion"] { color:#f00; }

If that does not work, try making the declaration important.

I hope you took the logged in list items into account when using nth-of-type.

For the lack of a decent selector, its href attribute should suffice. If it had not worked, did you make the declaration important ?

Code:
.menu a[href="/t195-launch-promotion"] { color:#f00 !important; }
