Want my forum to be closed, private, and to approve new members after they register
Hi everyone,
I'm new to forum administration, I'd like my forum to be private, and to choose who would participate, after registering.
How can I do that?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Mike64,
First you must change the viewing permissions of each forum :
Administration panel > general > forum > categories and forums > edit the permissions of each forum
Remove all the permissions for guests and save :
Then navigate to :
Users and groups > special rights
Change all the rights to members and save.
To change the registration :
Users and groups > Users > user options
Change new accounts activation to admin and save.
