Contest?

If you were doing a contest on your forum, what kind of prizes or awards would you give away to the person that won the contest?

I would probably give out points, custom ranks or display their name someone on the forum. It all depends on the contest really.

I agree with base on the recommendations, it all depends on what you are able to utilize on your forum. For example VIP for a week or month, SParkly names like the one someone is using on your forum now and so forth. You can also make up a special rank for the contest(s) like someone did here a while back, " Contest Winner" with maybe a ribbon/scroll or anything forum related on the side. Good luck.

Based from my experience, the thing they're after the most is graphics so I suggest grab as much renders as you can and make tons of signatures, avatars, special ranks.

The points would be useless if you've got nothing to use it for, lol.

Also, sometimes, they would ask for their own area, so blogs should be used good for this one. 

Lastly, the thing that's a bit risky to give, temporal moderation powers :o (Not admin, of course).

I've got it where the user will have the title contest winner under their username. 

But I'm also thinking of giving them a V. I. P. membership for a while.  Been thinking maybe six months at the most.
