Hi Very Happy

Please try this:

Code:
div.module.latestTopics > div > a {
font-size: 12px;
text-shadow: 0px 2px 13px #f5a911;
}

I actually don't know how to do it in order for each one not to be affected without declaring a specific nth-child so yeah. I can do it but it's your choice if you want nth-child declared or not. Nth-child is like something to specify it but I don't know just how accurate it is.

Hi Very Happy

Sorry, I just noticed due to the 504 pages I received when sending. As I said above, it will be affected because I didn't declare an nth-child but if you want, I can declare it; however, I don't know how accurate it is. It is still up to you though.

Also, yes, just add this in the code:

Code:
font-weight: bold;

Hi Very Happy

Okay, just one last try and this time, I specified everything including the nth-child:

Code:
#main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(4), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(13), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(22), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(31), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(40), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(49), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(58), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(67), #main-content > table.portal > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(2) > div.module.latestTopics > div > a:nth-child(76) {

Post by Pizza Boi on March 26th 2014, 9:46 pm

Hi Very Happy

Well... I did tell you I don't know how accurate nth-child is.

Okay, then I'll teach you something in order for you to use the proper selectors:

See the blue highlight? I got that by clicking the + sign on the upper right part. It will declare you an ID but you have to check if they're right. You have to declare your own Nth-child from your computer's perspective and if you want to hit multiple in one, just add "," after each.

Hi Very Happy

That's why I did state that I don't know nth-child's accuracy, lol. But yeah, let's wait until someone can formulate a code that just targets the "Topic Title", so my apologies if I didn't manage to solve your problem =x.

Pizza boi, nth-child is bad for this sort of thing. I would not use those selectors generated by chrome since their index can constantly change.  bounce

I'll be honest that I am completely lost after reading everything, could you possibly restate what you want ?

Thanks :rose:

Hi Very Happy

That's why I'm sad about not figuring it out  TT ... anyway, what he wants is that only the "Topic Title" be changed in the Latest Topic Widget:

Ex: (Based from here) Recent Topic font size, Post seach spoke, Domain Name ehem Problem? sort of...

Only that part without the font-size change for the by, latest poster, time, etc.

Thank you, I can see clearly ! loul

Try this CSS :
Code:
.module.latestTopics a[href^="/t"] {
    font-weight:bold;
    font-size:14px;
}

Pizza boi,

Remember that you can use an elements attribute to be more specific about your selection.

We select the parent : .module.latestTopics
and then the child element : a
we want to only select anchor elements whose href begins with /t : [href^="/t"]

^ = begins with value
$ = ends with value
* = contains any instance of the value
