Solved Wider Look

Post by CrystalSoul on March 27th 2014, 2:07 am

Hey everyone, is there a way to stretch the box which has my forum contents because it looks really small and I want it to have a wider look because there's too much space for the background image

Screenshot : http://prntscr.com/34gfpi

Thanks in advance Smile

In the bottom right corner of the message box is a image (looks like a triangle made of lines) that when pressed you can stretch the box.

Hi Very Happy

Make a widget with this code in it:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">

jQuery(document).ready(function(){

jQuery("#posaljiwidth").click(function(){
var a=eval(document.getElementById("selektwidth").value);
var b=0;
jQuery("table.bodylinewidth").animate({width:a},1100, "linear");
if(a==1200){b=1;}
if(a==1300){b=2;}
if(a==1400){b=3;}
if(a==1500){b=4;}
if(a==1600){b=5;}
if(a==1700){b=6;}
if(a==1800){b=7;}
setKuki('bodylinewidthkuki',b,365);
  });

});
</script>
<center>

   <div style="text-align: center;"><input id="posaljiwidth" value="Set" type="submit" /><select id="selektwidth">
  <option selected="selected">1200</option>
  <option>1300</option>
  <option>1400</option>
  <option>1500</option>
  <option>1600</option>
  <option>1700</option>
  <option>1800</option>

</select>
   </div>
</center>

It enables you to adjust the forum size by just clicking a button. Also, change the first number to the original size of the forum when you want it reverted back to the size.

@SLGray: Can you screenshot where I can find this please? thanks Smile

@Pizza Boi: I am sorry but your code didn't really work for me, I made a widget then added it to top right, chose different sizes then clicked "set" but nothing really happened

Hi Very Happy

I'll take a look into it since it should work fine. Anyway, adjust it manually first in ACP < Generals < Forum Width < To the size you want < Save
