Solved Navbar Gap Issue

Post by JustSomeLass on March 31st 2014, 11:42 pm

Hello everyone!

So, when I logged into my dummy-account this morning, I noticed something strange.
All of a sudden, the gap between my forum's navigation bar and the first category was about 3 times as big as usually.
Then I switched back to admin mode, and everything went back to normal.

See for yourself:

Oh, and just in case. – These are the only modifications I made in terms of CSS so far:

Code:
.signature {
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
-webkit-border-radius: 10px;
-khtml-border-radius: 10px;
border-radius: 10px;
border-color: #111010;
}

.signature_div img{
max-width: 500px !important;
max-height: 200px !important;
}

dl.icon dd.dterm, dl.icon dt {
    background-position: 75% 75%;
}

a.mainmenu[href="/calendar"]{
display: none;
}

p.about {
margin: 10px 100px 20px 50px;
}

Any ideas as to why that gap changes size depending on what kind of user browses my forum?
Version is phpbb3.

Thanks in avance Smile

Solved Re: Navbar Gap Issue

Hi Very Happy

Please try these codes and I'll explain in the bottom what to do:

Code:
.forabg {
  margin-top: -#px;
}
p.right.rightside, p.right.rightside + p  {
  position: relative;
  bottom: #px;
}

.forabg should ALWAYS have a negative value so you can adjust it to move to the top. Also, I do not know if you have the time displayed or not but I made sure to be careful so the below code, enables you to move it above as well so it won't get covered.

#px - Change # to the number and in .forabg's case, it has to be something like -90px.

Pizza Boi

Oh, thank you! It was, in fact, just the ads fufufu
Anyways, I will keep that code in case something similar happens again :rose:

Solved.
