Abuse complaint question.
Hi, I have a question about abuse complaints. Is there anything I can do about getting numerous abuse complaints on a daily basis by someone who is trolling my forum? There has to be something that can be done to stop this kind of harassment on forums. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi,
Was he once a member? If so then you could ban his IP address.
Otherwise you have to kind of put up with it. There has been an on-going suggestion on

Re: Abuse complaint question.
There is not a way to stop anyone from using the Report an Abuse link. Even if it is a member, he/she can use the link as a guest.
If it is a fake report, all you have to do is send it to the done reports.

I've tried that but they continue to come back using a proxy with hidemyass.Derri wrote:Hi,

Re: Abuse complaint question.
Hello,
Well this doesn't affect anything on your forum, it's sent on your admin panel and not to to Forumotion so there's nothing to worry, all you can do is to move it to done abuses.
