Totally unacceptable response from Forumition and topic locked

Post by parbrook on April 7th 2014, 11:48 am

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way that I have been treated on this (supposedly) support forum on my topic "Is there any moderation of adverts ?".

You have just told me that my forum is not a Forumotion forum and I have to contact for support, then closed the topic so that I cannot respond.

This is complete rubbish.

At, I created a forum and the following page was displayed:
The next step was:
After completing this, I had my forum which, by the way, had a large "forumotion" logo in the top banner.

As you can see from these pages, Forumotion is clearly displayed, It is really ridiculous for you to suggest that I do not have a Forumotion forum.

So, what you are telling me is that, although I signed-up with Forumotion and my forum's URL is, you are refusing to provide any support ?

What kind of organisation is this that I am dealing with?

Hi !
I searched your thread and found out that in your previous topic, forum link is:
^ This is PHPBB Forum
^ This is Forumotion forum.

Which is yours ?
You will get support on forum, IF it is the latter one.

We sincerely apologise for the mistake that was made. The only URL provided in the previous topic was made in this post:

I can see the mistake that was made. My colleague mistook that URL to be your forum which was in fact a completely different forum. It was an oversight made for which I would like to apologise once again on their behalf.

Your forum is:
...which is definitely a Forumotion forum. Therefore, we can most certainly provide support for you. I will be glad to re-open your previous topic and we can continue in there.

So, once again, apologies for the inconvenience caused. It was a genuine mistake.

Thank you,
