Spaces don't work anymore inside HTML
The spaces inside a HTML code don't work anymore.
Example:
http://www.warriorcatsnl.com/t10344-dustkit#254406
When editing they are still there, but when uploading the post, the whole text won't have any spaces in it.

Re: Spaces don't work anymore inside HTML
what spaces do u mean? by pressing "enter" ?

"br" stands for "break"

Re: Spaces don't work anymore inside HTML
Yes, by enter. On the boards of course and not in the html pages that you can make in the adminpanel.
It used to work just fine without that code.

Re: Spaces don't work anymore inside HTML
No, it has just changed today and before that we could just put spaces inside html codes on the boards, I get that they are needed in the adminpanel, but I don't get this change. The example that I put in the first post, didn't look like that yesterday and the months before that.J0k3R^ wrote:Carambouli wrote:Yes, by enter. What the hell caused this change to happen? Let me tell you, Cam, if you don't mean me calling you that, you aren't the only one who is having this effect their forum.

This, for example, is having all the templates on my site become giant clusterfucks. Now I'm not sure who messed with what, but before today, you did NOT need to use <br> for anything in the posting/reply area. After this morning, someone apparently jacked with the coding on forum motion and we aren't happy about it.
Do you realize how many post we may have to fix because of this screw up? I'm requesting that someone restore the original code because we cannot flat-out go over thousands of post with templates in them and start doing this <br> crap post by post. Has anyone ever heard of the expression "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? What was the point in making this change?
EDIT: And to FURTHER prove my point, this is how that page looked before some genius decided to make this mistake. Thank you google cache.

Don't mind you calling me that, and yes, I have checked on all the other sites that I know about and it happened to them too. I just found out a hour ago, but before today we didn't have to do that and I would honestly don't like it if we have to do it now. We have to edit so many posts if we need to use that code.PlatinumHearts wrote:What the hell caused this change to happen?
