Hi i have flash background in my HTML page is possible to use the background in portal?

Hello TheShaka,

You could probably do something like this :

Administration panel > modules > javascript codes management > create a new script

Title : what you wish
Placement : in the portal
Paste the code below and save :

$(function() {
    
    var flashFile = 'https://swiffypreviews.googleusercontent.com/view/gallery/example2.swf';
    
    $('body').prepend('<embed style="position:fixed;z-index:-1;width:100%;height:100%;" src="' + flashFile + '"></embed>');
    $('#wrap').css('background','#FFF');
    
});

Just change the flash file link to what you wish and you should be good. Very good

Change the background color of the wrap too if you want. If I remember, the embedded element usually doesn't work well with transparency.

Thanks and Hi it work  :rose:  but i can't see widgets in my portal: seiya.forumpl.net/portal  <- test forum, i can't see widgets only in firefox.
with your flashlink or mine, also in the top of bage i have white bar.

The wrap background will need to be a solid color. (not transparent)

Try this :

I can't really figure what the problem is, since I have it working fine on my test forum.

Try changing the script to :

    var flashFile = 'http://seiya.iwplay.com.tw/event/2014/0402/media/index.swf';
  
   $('body').prepend('<embed style="position:fixed;z-index:-1;width:100%;height:100%;" src="' + flashFile + '"></embed>');
});

If it still shows messed up, add this to your stylesheet :

#wrap { background:#FFF !important; }

Now is again everything broken if no color, maybe is possible to make white color 80% transparent or something like that?

You can try this, but I doubt it will work. If there is transparency the flash will display on top when it should be on the bottom.

#wrap { background:rgba(255,255,255,0.8) !important; }

Since this would only be on the portal you can make that color solid there only by a stylesheet in a widget.

Remember to set use a table type to 'no'
