You're gonna have 1 pissed off admin on your back, good luck.

And I view this kind of like the cash mod, I think they both provide users an opportunity to gain points/cash/rep through what they do for the forum and like with the cash mod, it can be transferred from user to user. If I had a choice, I would say get the cash mod done and this won't need to really be done, kill two birds with one stone.

Why would the Admin get pissed off at me? Telling one of the Admins wouldn't be a crime, and plus I forgot to PM him so if he'll get pissed of then there's no point in PMing him.

I'm kind of lost, how does THIS idea actually improve the Forums?

What do you hope to gain from it, and how will it be used?

It provides a way for members to compliment / show dissatisfaction towards eachother... Also members from most of our forums are demanding an automatic reputation system which is on nearly every other forum so why not ours.

Hmm... that is useless for me too, but somehow a lot of people like, to take and give thats points... those people make a Signatures with texts like "If i helped, give me a point, if not, give it too" etc. For me, it's doesn't matter, but you see on your own, how many of us will it...

Do I explain yet once more that I have no say in what's accepted and refused
Or do I simply warn you for insolence?

A warning it is then ))

I just said; I CAN'T DO IT. I'D LOVE TO. If only just to get members off my back.
I don't expect you to say sorry, just to realise what you are saying...

Come to think of it, forget the warning, it'll be a Serious Warning, congratulations Wink

I have seen it on many other forums as a way to get revenge on your enemies. It may be used for good quite alot, but there are some silly people out there that love to -rep people. In the other hand, I would love to see this included if people can have a special post count to be able to give out reputation, So I vote yes.

Wow - You got off Lightly I think.

Caihlem must be in a good mood.

I don't mean to make him sound like an ogre and always in a bad mood, I am sure he's a lovely chap,

I haven't had any problems from him since I have joined Forumotion.

I hope he can say the same for me..

Indeed...

Contrary to the rumors, I don't like warning or banning (locking is different). If only for the hastle of the rank that needs to be added, the mod box filled, the profile and thread links and a post in the Warnings topic explaining why...

NosStyl;
If I have to say once more that I don't "don't give a shit", I don't exactly know what I'll do, nor the exact order, but the punch line is you dissapear. Is it really worth it?
Personally, I'd love a rep system, it'd be really useful in RPG Forums, my favorite kind of forums.
