Solved How can I handle the litigation?

Post by Van-Helsing April 23rd 2014, 3:29 am

Hi all,
After the yesterday's post https://help.forumotion.com/t132459-i-am-getting-threats-from-a-member-here-what-must-i-do today I was found a litigation in my acp from the person which we disagreed yesterday. I want to ask you how can I handle it?

With Best Regards,
Dark-Avenger

Hi Very Happy

Well, in my opinion, just ignore it, if it persists, you already have the link above as your statement that he is okay with it.

Hello,

Is this solved?

If it's just reported via the 'Report an abuse' link, it's sent your admin panel and not to Forumotion, so you can just ignore it, furthermore, the answers for this questions are already explained by Base on your previous thread.

It takes time for the litigation team to check your forum. Well, open does mean that is being worked on.

How can we provide officially to the litigation team the link of the topic https://help.forumotion.com/t132459-i-am-getting-threats-from-a-member-here-what-must-i-do to let them know that the problem solved and decrease the wait time?

We do not have contact with the litigation team. They will check your forum like all other forums that they get a report about.

Solved Re: How can I handle the litigation?

Post by RadioHead April 24th 2014, 1:48 am

Hi,

Buttercup will tell you the exact same as what we have said in this thread, if it is a warning in the index/home page of the admin panel, you must wait to the of the count down timer. You cannot have your forum inspected prior. That will NOT happen.
If it is a warning on the index page of the admin panel, there is content on your forum that directly disobayes the ToS. If your forum is still violating the ToS when inspected your forum will be banned, and you can not recover it.

If however this report is under the 'abuses' section of the admin panel you can totally disregard it, as it was not reported to the company.

Is there a pink/red message from Forumotion (top right corner) on your homepage of the administration panel?

You have to understand that the litigation team receive many reports, so they take time to check each report and forum.

Hello

Without a legal paper or proofs that the image, codes, tutorial,... belong to the person the complaint is worthless.
The litigation team is here to transfer complaints between forums. It is also a good way for our team to check illegal forums.

You are free to complaint to competent authorities if necessary.

Thanks for your understanding

Best regards
