Redirecting to first new post instead of last post
Struggling to find this in the administration menus.
Every time there is more than one post, you get redirected to the last post instead of the first new post, which is what I would like it to change to.
How do you do this?
Thanks in advance!
Luke

Hi
It should be automatic when you click on the recent widget title there, if it's from the index_box portion, I'm afraid that is not possible (Unless someone scripts it) but I have not seen anyone do it yet.

Pizza Boi

Yeah, it's from a latest topics widget from the portal. So if i understood you correctly, its not possible for the link to be redirected to the first new posts from that widget?

Re: Redirecting to first new post instead of last post
Hi
Sorry can you please provide screenshots of this problem? Also, please provide a link.
Another thing, if you are running on Javascripts, please temporarily disable them and try to click on the links again so that you can see if it works.
Also, you might want to try going to AP < General < Messages and see if you can modify it there. I will check when I gain enough time for problems like these.
If you need an extended help, please refrain from private messaging me here and just email this account: Email Removed
@Staff: Guys, please don't remove this because as I said, this is just an alternate account, it does not matter if it gets hacked or not and if you still remove it, my apologies as you know that my inbox is very limited AND my sentbox is already 100% full. I cannot delete my messages in it as they are important so I will give out my alternate email for use here. I have also posted this in topics that I have this email in. There is also no worries for IP trackers as I am using Dynamic IP's so my area can switch from any area as my provider pleases and that I also switch devices so I'm generally untraceable.

Do you have any JavaScripts that could be causing this issue?

Nothing changed from the original scripts that came with the forum, unless that is the problem?

Re: Redirecting to first new post instead of last post
It is a universal problem.....I am hosting a PHPBB3 forum and the users all said they have their posts redirect to the last post despite there being or more new posts.
