You are in a hurry and these stuff need patients.. We are all people and we all got something to do. You must wait and if within 24 hours no-one answers then complain.. Anyways..
For your question. Did you see this fact with the widget on an other forum? If yes can you provide us a link of that forum, where guests can see that?
Thank you!

Hi
@OP: This has been tackled already, we refrain from helping this type of problem as much as possible because the thing you want 'Requests' too much.
Which means, that you have a higher risk of your forum bugging down faster if you wish to implement this, that's why, not even Ange Tuteur bothered helping erchima with this in her MOTM problem because they rely on almost the same pattern for the problem.
You can try PHP... but that's not allowed in Forumotion .

Pizza Boi

Re: How to Create a Widget That has a Certain Forum Post in it?
Sorry SLGray,
Pizza Boi, I did not find another forum with the same problem. And refraining from help as much as possible when there is no other forum doesn't make sense. I just want to make it so I can post of my portal page (home page) some announcements and stuff (yes i know about the scrolling one at the top of the page, but I also want to know how the way I want to), and I found out that is possible when seeing it on the forum of the forums. I don't care if it requires a CSS code.

In the right below the "About Forumotion" you'll see those post widgets.
Anyways, to do that, You have to go:
Admin Panel >> Modules >>
and now you have to choose where you want to add this:
If you want in your Portal then you choose: portal
else you choose: forum widgets
To add it on your portal after you click the portal you have to push the "Structure" link and simply drag and drop the widget named "News" to the position wanted.
Same steps you make for the forum widgets but there you don't have to push any structure link!
Hope i helped.
Re: How to Create a Widget That has a Certain Forum Post in it?
I know about the news thing, but with that, every post will appear. How do I make it so it only shows the posts I want? I made a "News" forum to post news and stuff, I just want everything in the news folder to appear on the widget. Nothing else.
