Solved Error message

Post by :)fergal:) May 23rd 2014, 11:12 pm

Hi,

I uploaded an image to the image hosting site quickpic.info, but when I try to post it on my forum I get the error message: "You haven't got the rights to access this page"?

How do I fix this and why is this happening?

Weird, tried it and it shows the same error you're experiencing. Anyway, wait for staff to check this post.
For the meantime, try other hosting site instead.

I suggest you to use this one:
- tinypic . com (Just remove the space)

Are you using the link for forums? Most image hosting sites have different links for different places.

Yeah as SLGray said different image hosting have different link for different category's.

I'm going to create a tutorial about this.

Just go to TinyPic.com and upload image from files and then select image size them click "Upload" then select "Messaging boards"

I don't think you understand my problem. I am using the direct link and hyperlinking it. It doesn't work on this forum either. Try uploading an image to quickpic.info and posting it here (with the http hyperlinking etc.) and you will get an error message when you post it.

I don't want to use tinypic. It sucks. Quickpic is the best image host.

This is really an issue for the technicians, and perhaps I still haven't made myself clear but this has nothing to do with my forum (which isn't actually active at the moment anyway). The same issue is on this support forum and other forumotion forums too.

This is the message I get:

If you want to upload an image why don't you do it from the admin panel which is easier and 100% sure (except if servimg is down) ?

What if another user who isn't an admin wants to upload an image? And wants to use something better than servimg (like, QuickPic).

There are plenty of sites where you can upload an image such as photobucket, imageshak, servimg etc. Why does it have to be QuickPic? If it has a problem why don't you use an other site?

Because QuickPic is the best. This isn't a problem with QuickPic, this is a problem with Forumotion.

Post the image's URL by using the code tags.

Hi,

Its evident FM doesn't allow or like quickpic links. I'll report this to our Pro-Admin who'll hopefully be able to provide an answer or a solution. In the meantime, if it is urgent I'd suggest using another image host.

As Derri said I think forumotion doesn't allow quickpic links to forumotion. I think it may be banned.

Try using TinyPic.

Hello

Infact, this service is blacklisted. This is an internal decision. You must use an other service.

Thanks for your understanding
