Can the use of emails for user name be prevented?
Here is what I have for 'Users Censoring'
I can't use the @ by itself because it says I need 3 characters. The stars don't act as wild cards, so they're useless.
I had someone register this morning as KEN@xxxxxxxx.COM where the x's are the name of his business.

Hello,
As it says you need 3 characters. Try testing creating a TestAccount and put @ in the name see if it pops up a message.
Could you provide the link of your forum?

You could ban that email address (just this part @XXX.com). Then no can register with that email domain.

True, but that doesn't help for privately owned domains, which this one is, ie.
me@boffer10.com
you@slgray.net
him@whatever.org
The instructions say:
'For example, if "test" is forbidden, no name created after the addition of this censored word will contain "test". So "test", "test06", "fastest" and "fatest98" will be forbidden.'
As you can see in my pic above, I have .com and .net listed, yet it didn't prevent his registering.

I mean here:
Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Ban Control
Ban an e-mail address Tab
