Solved Using a font nobody has installed?

Post by Yous000 on June 4th 2014, 2:19 am

When I change the font it says that it will only display to users if that font is installed. I want to use a font called Roboto-Italic. I'm pretty sure nobody has it installed, how can I make this my forum font?

Hello,

You can apply a global font by css:

Code:
* {
 font-family: FONTFAMILYHERE !important;
}

Make sure you search for the font family for css.

I found and applied this Javascript but it did not work:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">[size=12][b][/b][/size]
  WebFontConfig = {[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    google: { families: [ 'Roboto:500italic:latin' ] }[size=12][b][/b][/size]
  };[size=12][b][/b][/size]
  (function() {[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    var wf = document.createElement('script');[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    wf.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https' : 'http') +[size=12][b][/b][/size]
      '://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/webfont/1/webfont.js';[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    wf.type = 'text/javascript';[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    wf.async = 'true';[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];[size=12][b][/b][/size]
    s.parentNode.insertBefore(wf, s);[size=12][b][/b][/size]
  })(); </script>

and this CSS:
Code:
font-family: 'Roboto', sans-serif;
