Like Button Position

Post by ItalyExo on June 4th 2014, 9:20 am

So I followed a tutorial on how to make a new like button for PunBB Forums.

The JScript Code I used is this:
Code:

var avacweb_like_system = {   dom_ready : false,   vote_singular : 'Like',   vote_plural : 'Likes',   callback : function(vote, new_button) {    $('.postfoot', vote.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode.parentNode).before( new_button )   }};$(function() { avacweb_like_system.dom_ready = true; });$.getScript('http://www.avacweb.net/likesystem');

The CSS Code is this:
Code:

.LGlike {  background: #105289;  padding: 3px;  border-radius: 4px;  color: #fff;  font-size: 10px;  font-weight: bold;  text-shadow: -1px 0.5px #888;  box-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #888;  cursor: pointer;  margin-right: 4px; } .LGvote { margin: 0 5px; } .LGnovote {  filter:Alpha(opacity=50);  opacity: 0.5;  cursor: default;  box-shadow: none;  text-shadow: none; }

Ok, so the button works, but I want it at the bottom left of each post. You know the panel kind of thing where quote, editer, delete, etc buttons are? I want it in that column, but all the way to the left.

This is what it looks like now, I want it right below the dashed line. thank you!

ItalyExo,
In CSS try with this code:
Code:
.LGvote { float: right;
}
If You want to remove "Like" after voting put this:
Code:
 .LGnovote {
  display:none!important;
 }

In phpBB3 it's work correctly... Regards & Respect!

ok let me try do something
i think you better add what
smejker said like you adding new CSS codes
i think that might work
on my forum i use that code
1- javaScript
Code:
var like_version = 'phpbb2';
    var DOM_IS_READY = false;
    $(function(){DOM_IS_READY=true;});
    var vote_singular = 'Like';
    var vote_plural = 'Likes';
    $.getScript('http://micsoft.xp3.biz/like');
change the word phpbb2 to your forum version
2- CSS
Code:
    .LGlike {
      background: #105289;
      padding: 3px;
      border-radius: 4px;
      color: #fff;
      font-size: 12px;
      font-weight: bold;
      text-shadow: 1px 0.5px #888;
      box-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #888;
      cursor: url(http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/42/09/54/cursor10.png), progress!important;
      margin-right: 10px;
    }
    .LGvote { margin: 0 5px; }
    .LGnovote {
      filter:Alpha(opacity=50);
      opacity: 0.2;
      cursor: url(http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/42/09/54/cursor10.png), progress!important;
      box-shadow: none;
      text-shadow: none;
    }
