Post by Shainy on June 5th 2014, 11:09 pm

Good evening,

Today I saw on my account in google webmaster tool, that new owner verification appeared for my forum, with an email address I dont know whose. The verification was done with html code. I tried toUnverifythat owner, and remove it, but google cant do it, I dont know why.. What does that mean? How can I remove that email?

This sounds like it needs to be between you and Google. Have you contacted them and discuss the issue?

No, I didnt contact them yet. I just wondered because if I understand correctly, in admin option panel on webmaster tool, admin is the one who need to appoint someone if he want to assined someone like site owner or user . I didnt get any message except that one there, next to my site name...Im not sure does that mean that my google email is somehow hackett or is just a mistake..Next to that new site owner stands html verification code, which I dont have on my site ..

Hello,

I have not heard of this issue before, if I understood the situation correctly, only the founder himself/herself of the forum or the pro admin of Forumotion can make changes to the account of the founder.
