Solved Gradient background for posts?

Post by BASSLovah1 on June 15th 2014, 3:34 pm

Each post here on this form, has a blue gradient background (as you can see). How can I add that on my forum with gray-black?

Thank you.

Hello,

This code should fix your problem but you have to change your default color to something more bright because grey-black color to letters wont be visible.
Code:
.postbody {
background-color: #666666;
width: 100%;
}

To change your default color, go:
Admin Panel >> Display >> Colors and pics >> Colors and change the first color box you see.

Regards.

Hello Very Happy

The color I have as deafult is pure white #FFFFFF, thus I think there is some css code making the deafult text color gray, so I will attach my css code here.

Thank you.

Hello,

Try replacing this code:
Code:
body {
  /* Text-Sizing with ems: http://www.clagnut.com/blog/348/ */
  font-family: tahoma;
  color: #ababab;
  background: #0b0b0b;
  background-repeat:repeat-x y;
  font-size: 13px; /* This sets the default font size to be equivalent to 10px */
  margin: 0;
}
with this one:
Code:
body {
  /* Text-Sizing with ems: http://www.clagnut.com/blog/348/ */
  font-family: tahoma;
  color: #FFFFFF;
  background: #0b0b0b;
  background-repeat:repeat-x y;
  font-size: 13px; /* This sets the default font size to be equivalent to 10px */
  margin: 0;
}

Regards.

Solved Re: Gradient background for posts?

Ok, this one is solved, but another thing I can't manage to fix is the link colour.
I managed to find the css code bits that set the link colour (and all its variants like visited or hover) to gray and changed them to light yellow and bright yellow (link-hover) but it doesn't seem to want to change.

Added same colours in the Colours tab in ACP

Any idea about why is this happening?
