Solved Bad Sized Default Avatar

Post by Bully@Wiiplaza on July 2nd 2014, 3:17 pm

I've set an image as default avatar.

When a member registers, that image will be used as his avatar by default.

I'm having the problem that it doesn't fit and is way too big. Strangely, if I set the same image as avatar manually its size is perfect.

Any tips on how to prevent these size issues?

I currently use this one:

I halved the pixels compared to before to possibly make it fit better.

If that will be the image link you should be able to use the following CSS rule to resize the image :
Code:
img[src$="eee4878002.png"] {
 max-height:100px;
 max-width:150px;
}

It can be added in Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

Change the values if needed.

Alright, is there an easy way to test if it looks good? Without creating an account.

It should be applied to users currently without an avatar, and any new users after that. If users already have a default avatar, then it wont change, though sometimes it does.

Yes Wink
Deleting the current avatar forces the default one and it's resized. Great!
