Solved Centering usernames/More border problems

Post by Tommy-G on July 7th 2014, 11:21 pm

Hello again.

I've noticed after changing my ranks that the username placement on a posters mini-profile is kind of off with where it's placed.

For example the user name in this shot "Genesis" is way too far left, is there a way for me to move it closer toward the center?

Also, even after adding:
.spoiler_content img:not(img[src*="smiles"]) { width:99%; }
.quote img:not(img[src*="smiles"]) { width:99%; }

to my CSS, images are still breaking past borders like so:

Am i missing something?

Hi Tommy-G,

I think using max-width in your case should solve these problems. Replace your CSS to resize images by :
Code:
.spoiler_content img, .quote img { max-width:99% !important; }

For centering usernames, add the following rules to your stylesheet :
Code:
.post .name + br { display:none }
.post .name {
 display:block;
 text-align:center;
}

Solved Re: Centering usernames/More border problems

Hello again, Ange.

The centering thing worked, thanks a bunch.

The border issue is still present for basic large images after the max-width addition, though. :/

Maybe I added it wrong to my CSS again?

Code:

.spoiler_content img:not(img[src*="smiles"]) { max-width:99% !important; }
.quote img:not(img[src*="smiles"]) { max-width:99% !important; }
.post .name + br { display:none }
.post .name {
display:block;
text-align:center;
}
#content-container #left { margin-right: 40px !important;}
#posterrank {
position: relative;
left: 1px;
bottom: 4px;
top:-10px;
}

Hehe hopefully we got it now. max-width should do the job, if not you can always come back. Wink
