How to bann permanently?
Hello,
My problem is that I have a member, who I want to bann permanently, but he has changable IP. I was searching through the topics and found this:
https://help.forumotion.com/t132362-how-do-i-bann-a-member-permanently
I have one question. If I follow Black-Shadow's advice, wouldn't that bann every member, whose IP begin with the same numbers? Would that bann people of the same region?

Its a potential you could ban people who have that IP address you ban. Its a issue you face when you ban IP is people could be blocked.

Re: How to bann permanently?
To ban a member you have to ban the following this
IP Address
Email Address
and the member this is all done on
ACP >> Users & Groups Tab >>
Users >>
add the name of the member in the first box and save
Then Add the Email address to the 2nd tab then save
then add the ip address to the 3rd one then save.
other then that just keep banning in the end there get sick of making new Email addresses.
Hope that helps
