Joining the Forumotion Team

Dear Forumotion Members Very Happy

From time to time, members ask us 'How do you join the Forumotion Staff?'
So, we've decided to put together this guide which covers joining the Support Moderators, Graphic Designers and Reviewers.

We respectfully ask that you do not private message us asking to join the team. We don't mind you showing your interest in joining the team, but private messaging us asking to join the team can make you look power hungry and this may diminish your chances of actually joining the team.

We are always looking for potential staff members and if we see you doing a good job in a particular area, we may invite you to join the staff. This is done through private message usually by an Administrator, Manager or Team Leader. Of course, you are free to accept or reject the offer. Wink

Thank you very much for reading and please read below for information on joining each team.

Note: Following this guide does not guarantee you a position on the team.

Forumotion Review Team
Joining the Forumotion Team Review14

Role of the Review Team

The role of the review team is to provide forum reviews in order to provide analysis and tips on how to improve Forumotion Forums by completing requests. The review team can moderate the review section only.

General Expectations
• Dedication to your Work
• Willingness to Help Others
• Mature, Professional Attitude
• Ability to Work Within A Team

How to join the team?

The review team have launched a program called "Trial Reviewers" and we're looking for members to apply.

What are Trial Reviewers?

Trial Reviewers are people who are training to become a fully fledged member of the review team. They'll be given guidance and tips by the official review team and when they've built up their skills then they can join the team as a full reviewer. The time taken to become a full reviewer can be as long or as short as it needs to be depending on how good a reviewer each individual is. If you're already a good review and have previous examples then you might be hired onto the team immediately or only be on trial for a week. If you're less experienced then you might be on trial for longer.

Trial Reviewers aren't staff members yet however and won't be given moderation powers or the ability to warn or remind users of the rules. They will be similar to how members do reviews but they'll get direct feedback and will have a coloured username and rank.

The rank looks like this: Joining the Forumotion Team Trial13

What are the requirements to become a trail reviewer?

  1. Have completed some reviews as this gives us a basis of how well you're doing and we can therefore see where you can improve.
  2. Have a good grasp of the English language (Clarity in reviewing is a must to avoid confusion for the reader)
  3. Follow the Review Section Guidelines

Some General Expectations:

  • Dedication to your work
  • Willingness to help others
  • Mature, professional attitude
  • Ability to work within a team

If you're interested in becoming a trial reviewer then please send a PM to TheCrow or any Administrator or Manager.

Code:
[b]Username:[/b]
[b]Age:[/b]
[b]Joined Date:[/b]
[b]Why do you want to be a Reviewer?:[/b]
[b]Why should we choose you?:[/b]

Note: We do ask that you've at least completed a couple of reviews before applying as we want to see how good you're to begin with so we know how best to help you.
