Post by CoL on September 21st 2014, 5:45 am

Okay we've upgraded our forum into Punbb version and i have something to change with our new layout... I Hope these wont look too much Smile Thanks.

1. I want to make the Post Area to be a little bit darker/black including the description of the categories:

2. I'd like the widget to have footer style, like what we have at the end of each categories.

3. How to change the search query font's color:

4. Also i want to remove the hover link shadow in entire forum:

EDIT:

I also want to reduce the spacing of user's info.

Hello CoL,

1. ) In your CSS, adjust the background color of this rule :
Code:
.pun .post {
  background-color: #F2F6F6;
  background-image: url('http://i33.servimg.com/u/f33/17/13/12/28/msub11.png'), url('http://i33.servimg.com/u/f33/17/13/12/28/sezion12.png');
  background-position: center bottom, center top;
  background-repeat: repeat-x;
  border-bottom: 1px solid #EDF1F1;
  border-top: 1px solid #FFF;
  text-shadow: 0px 1px 0px #FFF;
}

2. ) Add this to your CSS :
Code:
#left .module.main .main-content {
 background:url('http://i33.servimg.com/u/f33/17/13/12/28/msub_l10.png') repeat-x bottom #FBFBFB;
}

3. ) Adjust the font color of the search menu by adding this rule :
Code:
#search_menu { color:#000 }

4. ) Remove this from your CSS :
Code:
a:link:focus, a:link:hover {
  color: #0874C7;
  text-shadow: -1px 1px 8px #0CF, 1px -1px 8px #0CF;
}

All should be done here :
Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

The green text in your screenshot are links which are colored green because you have it that why in the administration panel.

Your screenshot of the administration panel does not show that you changed the color for links. It is still green.

@ SLGray- Just the Categorie's Description, not the Title. I'd like to include post contents to be in black.

Check to see if this rule is in your stylesheet :
Code:
body {
  color: #94A0A1;
  font-family: "myriad pro","segoe ui";
  font-size: 12px;
}

If it is, change the color.

The line-height needs adjusting. I set it to 1.2em, but you can modify it if you wish :
Code:
.pun .user .user-info { line-height:1.2em }
