Welcome email

Post by tomdavid on October 25th 2014, 3:38 am

I've been told our Welcome email reads:

"Welcome to forums

Please keep this e-mail in your savebox. Below are your account details."

Is there any way to change that "Welcome to forums" to "Welcome to our ABC Forum"?
Taking out "forums" and putting in it's place "our ABC Forum."

Thank you.

Thank you for the quick response. This is what that page looks like:

Where would I input the "Welcome to our ABC Forum"?

And would that email be sent to everyone who registers in place of the Welcome email I spoke about above?
If so, would it include all the info in the Welcome email, such as user name, password, etc.?
And they would receive that email in place of the Welcome email I quoted above? They wouldn't receive 2 emails?
I just want to make sure everyone who registers would receive the same worded email, but with just the bottom part of it changed from "Welcome to forums" to "Welcome to the ABC Forum."

(Sorry for all the questions, but this is all quite confusing.)

I was referring to the Welcome Message that a person gets when he registers for my forum.
Where it says:

"Welcome to forums

Please keep this e-mail in your savebox. Below are your account details."
And then it lists the User name, and password.

This is the copy of the "Welcome to forums" email that the person who registers receives:

I wanted to change that "Welcome to forums" at the beginning to something like "Welcome to our forum" or something similar.

Pretty sure it's impossible to modify that email.

Okay. Guess we will just have to let it remain the way it is. Thanks for the help.

Hello tomdavid,

The only data I know that you can modify by the e-mail is the signature and sender e-mail. All the e-mail settings can be found here :
Administration Panel > General > Messages and E-mails > e-mails and contact form
