Solved Help with Usergroup styles

Post by Rupture on December 28th 2014, 4:09 pm

Hello,

Right now the usergroups I have on my site are very simple, and I can't colour the usernames because it makes the names Bold, and I don't like them to look bold. I have read the tutorial yall have here, but I didnt find what I am looking for. Is there a way to make the font also look cool for the users online/recent members? I am looking for any ideas on what I can do to make this look better: http://raptorgaming.forumotion.com/forum lol

Thanks!

you can lower the blur and double or triple it to make it brighter

Code:
a[href="/u1"] {
 text-shadow: 0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00;
font-weight: initial;
}

That code didn't work, but I'm not looking for an individual member code, I have many members and I just want to know how I can change the effect they get when I add them to a Group. Like how I can keep the same font weight but colorize the usernames for a certain group?

you have to have the user groups colored in the acp

then you can use the color of the groups to style them

lets say the admin group has the color or #00ff00 then we would do this
Code:

a span[style="color:#00ff00"]{
text-shadow: 0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00;
}

you have to goto group administration in the acp and give the group a color and set yes color this group ... get the color code of that group and replace #00ff00 with the color of the group
then place this in your css

Code:
a span[style="color:#00ff00"]{
text-shadow: 0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00,0px 0px 3px #F00;
}
