In progress loss of images

Post by Flatiron January 2nd 2015, 12:03 am

The past week our forum has lost several images to include new topic icons and out main header icon.

Here is the weird thing On my computer at work if I use firefox everything shows up fine. If I use IE or google chrome the items are missing. If I use my home computer they are missing on all three browsers. Other members report the same issues to varying extent.

If I am in the administration panel on firefox on work computer they show up. If on admin panel on the other browsers or at home they do not show up.

I have just been given admin privileges to help solve the problem, so I don't want to do any changes on my own without some input from you folks.

Thanks for any help.

here is out link

Yes I saw that one but that does not explain why things are fine on one computer or browser and not on others.

Hello,

Try resynchronising the forum at:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Configuration (on the left, under Forum)
4. Scroll down to 'Resynchronize your forum'

No help with the cookies. I cleared cache on all browsers. Keep in mind it's not just me but most of the other forum members.

other members get the images on 1 computer and get it on a different one? Is that what you mean, I hope someone who has knowledge of this helps you soon.

Hi I'm not sure if this will help but please give it a try.

on the computer that is not showing the items can you please do the following.

ACP >> Display Tab >> loss of images Images_couleurs Pictures and Colors >> Pics management >> Advanced Mode'
Now on your buttons tab see if the items are showing in there!

if there not showing then please look to see if there still found in your servimg account.

To see if there still in your account please click on the little link saying "See examples" now a little page will come up on the left hand side there is your servimg account where you can see all your items you have added to your account. click the little green arrow's until you see your buttons. if there not there then servimg has removed them from there servers.

Then the reason your work computer is still seeing them would be that there still in the cache and it is not saved in your computers cache
then it will be the same problem as this link
https://help.forumotion.com/t136733-only-topic-loss-of-servimg-images

If your items are still there try and upload them again and see if the problem is still there.
