Solved How to remove all of the statistics shown on my forum?

Post by Guest on January 10th 2015, 5:37 pm

Hi all!

I'm using this code to hide my forum statistics:

Code:
#page-body p.page-bottom {margin: 0;display: none;}

But I'm left with an orange line when logged in and when logged out with an orange line saying "Statistieken" (Statistics) on top of it. I want to have the orange line and word "Statistieken" to be hidden, both in guest view as well as when logged in.

Guest view example: http://prntscr.com/5qs8db

Website: http://fcnl.actieforum.com
Version: phpBB3

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Samantha.

I'm sorry, but I'm using no templates. This is phpBB3.

Hello @SamanthaS, PhpBB3 now has templates.

Go to your Administration Panel => Display => Templates => Index_Body

Find and remove the following:
Code:
<p>{TOTAL_USERS_ONLINE}<br />
{RECORD_USERS}

<br />
{LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST}

{L_ONLINE_USERS}
{L_CONNECTED_MEMBERS}<br />
{L_WHOSBIRTHDAY_TODAY}{L_WHOSBIRTHDAY_WEEK}
</p>

And also find and remove this:
Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_statistics_link -->
   <div class="h3"><a href="{U_STATISTICS}" rel="nofollow">{L_STATISTICS}</a></div>
   <!-- END switch_statistics_link -->

   <!-- BEGIN switch_statistics_nolink -->
   <div class="h3">{L_STATISTICS}</div>
   <!-- END switch_statistics_nolink -->

<p class="page-bottom">
{TOTAL_POSTS}
</p>
<p class="page-bottom">
{TOTAL_USERS}
</p>
<p class="page-bottom">
{NEWEST_USER}
</p>

Uhm... OK @Ramdaman , before I execute, this first code box hides my users online right? I think that's not what I asked... or is it related to the second code? I just need the stats to be removed...

Yes, the second one should work. (Remember, you're removing it from the templates.)

Yay! I did it! First time ever I changed a template. I didn't know about phpBB3 templates and one can only change them as a founder and you should publish them first before it activates! Thanks dude! Really appreciate it! Hello

Sammy.

Please, move this topic down Archive Av. and thanks so much!
