In progress Greek Support issues

Post by TheCrow January 15th 2015, 11:44 am

First topic message reminder :

Hello dear staff,

I would like to inform you and to ask you about some things in my mind about the Greek Support.
Currently i am the founder of the Greek Support located here and the owner of the old Greek Support (aka The Professional as a username here and Nemo to his old support) which is in the official forum supports topic. He had his forum official with the domain name of http://greek-support.net but now the domain expired and it went back to http://assistance.forumgreek.com
Nemo registered to my Support forum and told me that since i made a better job to the support and due the fact that is a new one he wants to help me out making my support an official one. He will transfer important topics to the support i have and he will continue to my support forum.
Since greek-support.net has expired and members visit the topic and want to check the greek support and they get a white page, I believe that it should change either to the new support which i have currently either to the old one that goes to the link above.

Any thoughts?

Hello @Buttecup,

I would like to ask you about the images located here: http://www.forumgreek.com/directory/computers-and-internet/forum-management

The image of our forum is the image we have when we were under construction and still after 4 months it's still the same. I would like to ask you if we can change it somehow or when it will be changed?

Hello dear staff,

Through this message i would like to say a special thanks to all of you guys that helped me personally and the Greek Support to gain the trust and to become more and more better through out the time. These 4-5 months have been very good and we gained 50 members and now we start to get more active through our social media thanks to all of you!

Without you guys and the help and support you gave us we couldn't have done nothing!

A big thanks to all of you and much much of appreciation to each and every one of you!

Thank you,
Luffy

@Buttercup
I want to ask you something.
For the contests if we have just one or two entries, will the contest be ok or we should have 3 entries at least?
If its ok, and w have one or two entries i must give the first two prizes to the one/two entries?

Thanks,
Luffy

Hello @Luffy

If you have only 2 entries it is not a problem. Both members took the time to play Wink We will give credits as there were 3 or more entries Smile

@Buttercup with 1 entry is not fair to give the credits right?
So if it's one entry only i might just give 1000 credits to be fair with him or none?

Hello dear Staff,

@Buttercup @Ange Tuteur @Derri
A member of mine at the Greek Support asked me how can he get a domain and i told him the typical way through the ACP but he tells me he needs to give 26€ to get the domain that costs 1600 credits and the actual price is 10€. What can i do?

I'd assume depending on the country, exchange rates etc. It will cost more.

@Luffy Do you mean the price of the domain name is 10 Euros on say Godaddy whereas on FM it is more?

I've been looking at your question and I might of misunderstood.

Yes. He tries to buy credits and if he gives 10 euro he will get 5 codes which equals to 500credits. That is nowhere close to 1600 credits that is for the domain.

Allopass will charge you more for credits. Basically never buy credits from Allopass. Allopass isn't like buying from Skrill or Hitpay. You will pay more as its 2 euros per code.

Whereas 1600 credits via hitpay or skrill will cost 14 euros.

Domain name prices vary quite often. I believe FM has a partnership with Godaddy as I believe that's where all the domain names come from and quite often Godaddy will have sales on. FM doesn't account for this so you're always 14 euros for a domain which is the price of a domain when Godaddy doesn't have a sale on.

Hello @Luffy

Derri is true. AlloPass is not the best payment solution to get a domain name. They charge a lot. Your member should use Skrill. He has to use his credit card but he will page a price very closed to Godaddy Smile

Ok thank you @Buttercup and @Derri for the information. I'll keep him noticed.

Also i'd like to report a spelling mistake that was spotted. While we clear the chatbox messages the text that says the messages were cleared by ... its wrong. Where can i find that to change it's spelling?
