Hey, I know it is possible to hide Calendar and FAQ for everyone excluding admins, but is it possible to hide it for admins too?

Thanks.

Hello @CrystalSoul,

Add this rule to your stylesheet :
Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet
Code:
a.mainmenu[href="/calendar"], a.mainmenu[href="/faq"] { display:none }

Thanks! @Ange Tuteur

But now there is this uneven space between 'Home' and the rest of the nav buttons http://pokit.org/get/?e7c864bcbbd39e94cc7ad4173d048ec2.jpg

if you dont use the calendar you can disable it in acp>modules>calendar>configuration

as for the faq you will have to use script because it the parent element that causes the space and it does not have a id

goto acp>modules>javascript managament>

turn on javascript managment if it not on already and save

then creat a new javascript

title: whatever you link
placement in all pages
code:

Code:
$(function(){
$('a.mainmenu[href="/faq"]').parent().remove();
});

I have them both disabled. As for the script, I tried it and instead of hiding FAQ only, it hid the entire navigation bar.

It still didn't fix the space.

Add this to a script in all the pages :
Code:
$(function() {
  $('td:has(> a.mainmenu)').html($('td:has(> a.mainmenu)').html().replace(/&nbsp;/g,'').replace(/<\/a>\s/g,'</a>'));
});

It's caused by whitespace after the navigation links.

Hello,

You can simply change the position of where the calendar and faq are by going to Admin Panel > Display > Homepage > Headers & Navigation
and move the calendar and the faq at the bottom. That way with the first code Ange Tuteur gave you it should be fixed! Wink
