Review Section Changes

Post by Derri on February 9th 2015, 12:34 pm

Hello Dear Members,

Recently the review section has went through a number of small changes in order to provide clarity on how the section operates and has made a couple of small other changes.

Firstly, members must now post in in this topic if you'd like a review and then if your review meets our requirements it will be split and a topic will appear in the review section. We did this in order to provide clarity of when a member can do a review as sometimes members were unsure if they could work on a request because the request might be missing details.

Secondly, we changed the requirements of the "Simple Review". A "Simple Review" is now a free review meaning that there is no requirements to request this review making it ideal for someone who has recently created a forum and are looking for some feedback.

Lastly, members who are interested in becoming an official Forumotion Reviewer can send in an application to Derri registering their interest. You can see all the necessary details by visiting this topic.

If you have any questions about how the section is now operating, feel free to private message any member of the review team or ask in our "Only Topic" found here.

Regards
Forumotion Review Team

Trial Reviewers

Hello Dear Members,

The review team are now launching a new program called "Trial Reviewers" and we're looking for members to apply.

What are Trial Reviewers?

Trial Reviewers are people who are training to become a fully fledged member of the review team. They'll be given guidance and tips by the official review team and when they've built up their skills then they can join the team as a full reviewer.

Trial Reviewers aren't staff members yet however and won't be given moderation powers or the ability to warn or remind users of the rules. They will be similar to how members do reviews but they'll get direct feedback and will have a coloured username and rank.

The rank looks like this:

What are the requirements to become a trail reviewer?

  1. Have completed some reviews as this gives us a basis of how well you're doing and we can therefore see where you can improve.
  2. Have a good grasp of the English language (Clarity in reviewing is a must to avoid confusion for the reader)
  3. Follow the Review Section Guidelines

Some General Expectations:

  • Dedication to your work
  • Willingness to help others
  • Mature, professional attitude
  • Ability to work within a team

If you're interested in becoming a trial reviewer then please send a PM to Derri or Luffy
