Solved Domain Services Question

I marked my other topic solved and I forgot to ask another question I had to ask on here.

@Ikerepc  Regarding Forumotion not IPB, If I choose another Domain Name Provider like Go Daddy or something like that, can it be used for my FM Forum, or am I obligated to purchase a domain for FM via the ACP?
