Solved How do i make my first four categories background darker

Post by dcfc1234 on February 14th 2015, 1:37 pm

Hi guys,

I want to make my first four categories background a darker shade of grey so they stand out as these topics are just info and cannot be replied to, if that makes sense?

Hello,

You could just create a locked forum for this info, then only an admin or anybody else desginate can reply to it.

ACP-->General--->Categories and Forums--> Hit the plus sign, you will see it asks you whether you want to make it a category or forum, choose forum (you can not lock a category only a forum that's why) after you fill in all the info you will see it will have a drop down box (somewhere in the middle) that says 'Unlocked' Change this to 'Locked' now only Admins and moderators of that forum can post/make new topics there.

Hope this helps,
-Brandon

Thanks for your reply Brandon,

I just wondered if I can the change the background colour for those four sections, so they are darker grey than the other section, just to make them stand out from the rest sort of thing.

Do you know if that's possible to do,

Many Thanks friend

Thx Twisted Mods, that's worked great.

It has done the first three sections but I also need to have the fourth the same.

What do I need to add to the code to do the fourth one the same?

sorry to be a pain, the other section I need darker is entitled:

What is Post-Traumatic Migraine

Thanks
