Age Requirement Entry Popup

Im not sure if this goes here or in Forum Design help.. but is there a way to make it to where when people enter my site, they have to put their age first?

How would you know that someone is not entering the wrong date?

I don't care about that, I just want it for a use of a warning that theres 17+ content on my site

Do you have it set in the administration panel that you have to be 17 or older to register?

Yes. You have to code it yourself though. Go to ACP (Advanced)>Modules>JavaScript Codes Management. Then click "Create a new JavaScript", and make sure to check "Enable JavaScript codes management". Then, you can code an age popup, stylise it in your CSS, and set it to display on the Portal (or homepage of your site).

He was trying to tell me a way to go around the age gate.. I don't want to go around the age gate I want The age gate.. and how do you code it?

JavaScript + CSS. I can't really get more specific, because the customisation and the actual coding part depend on how you want it to look and on how you want it to interact with the user.
