You do understand that you will not get them if you are the one posting?

Yes I am aware of that, infact I post very little. I did have an issue recently with not getting notifications of new members but that seems to have put itself right by itself Shocked Its very hit and miss with the new post notifications or new topics I get some but not all

Well I will say that the nofitications and such (the icon of the forum that says new post or not) is based locally (your computer/ip address). For instance, I can answer and view all new posts in a section in the morning from my tablet, go to school and login on the school computer and have the same section still lit up (with new posts) that I already replied to.

Do you always use the same computer when viewing your forum?

Also may I personally suggest trying the recent topics widget, I find it useful because even if the notification system fails me... I can tel, if there is new posts or topics through the recent topics widget.

Thanks Brandon I hear what you say Very Happy But I don't want to have to be looking at my pc all the time, I have a notification sound that tells me when I have an email so it doesn't take up to much of my time.

Do you always use the same computer when viewing your forum?

Yes I do although I have tried it with my laptop and it's the same with that.

ok when done that you will need to watch your items again so do the same again but watch say 10 threads and see if that works.

Some times our servers go a little slow and need to be asked to reset them self for your forum. so just turning them off and back on again will give our servers a kick start.

When you turn the system off on your profile it will reset your Data on your profile so when this is turned off your have to watch the posts again.

When this is turned off the system will reset it's self on out servers and clear all the data used to watch them posts. when you turn it back on again it will be refreshed on the servers and then should then be fixed. if the problem is still there after that then we need to ask for more help on the tech side.

All our systems are all set the same.

removing the data on the servers will reset your profile by turning it off and back on again so to do this go to your profiles and un tick the items then save.

Then go to your setting that says watch this forum and tick it.

this will then reset your profile data and it will kick start the system again.

if that don't work then we can ask the tech team to take a look at it again for you.
