In progress Facebook Connect

Post by GregoryBaskin on March 22nd 2015, 9:39 pm

Trying to make this module active on my forum but it's not working. Specifically, after entering all the information requested (App ID, Facebook Secret Code, and three radio buttons.) I see this: "Error:You App ID is not valid."

Thanks for this. However, I do not have any CNAMES pointed at my forum.

You did create an app, not a page on Facebook?

To create an app, you have to join the Facebook Developers group.

My intent is to turn on the FB module on my forum. My apologies for any confusion.

Facebook Connect only works with an app.

He means there is no default module. You have to create it yourself, by joining the facebook developers group. Once you create there, you simply transfer the code they give you into fb system on fb in the acp.
