Solved Header Images in Widgets?

Post by Tattastic on Thu Apr 09, 2015 4:41 am

Hello,

I am trying to set an image like this  in Preset Widgets within my forums - www.clan-arc.com

I want this to show at the top of the preset Login widget (under Existing Widgets on Modules> Portal/Forum Widgets).

I found post back in 2013 but that only worked on Personal widgets, and not the preset Existing Widgets.

Is this possible? Thanks for any help in advance  Very Happy

Bit more information...

If you look below you will see a screenshot of the Existing Widget above my personal one...

The code I have entered is...

Code:
$(document).ready(function(){$('#right .module .h3:contains("LOG IN")').css('font-size','0px').css('border','none').prepend('<img src="http://i19.servimg.com/u/f19/14/16/71/66/topwid11.jpg" />');});

$(document).ready(function(){$('#right .module .h3:contains("COMPTEST")').css('font-size','0px').css('border','none').prepend('<img src="http://i19.servimg.com/u/f19/14/16/71/66/topwid11.jpg" />');});

You will see its the same code (and image URL - Only made the one to test)... I have tried the 'LOG IN' as joined up, with %20 in between them also, and none have worked.

I've also tried in lower case, taking how they are named in the source coding.

This is done via the Javascript option in Modules.

If this is not possible with coding is there anyway to place Existing modules within modules you are creating, as it only other way I could think how to get around it.

Change "LOG IN" to "Log in". If you copy the text directly you'll notice that it's not all in capitals. That's because the titles are making use of CSS text-transform.

The text must be typed exactly as it's displayed in the widget. Add this to your stylesheet so you can see how it's typed :
Display > Colors > CSS
Code:
.h3 { text-transform:none }

then the javascript should look like this :
Code:
$(function(){
  $('.module .h3:contains(Log in)').css({ 'font-size' : '0', 'border' : 'none' }).prepend('<img src="http://i19.servimg.com/u/f19/14/16/71/66/topwid11.jpg" />');
});

Do you have the widget on your forum ? I'm not seeing it, so there's really no way for me to tell if it's working. blackeye
