Re: Posting issues
Hello,
The first one sounds like this could be the problem: https://help.forumotion.com/t140113-only-topic-posts-timing-out
The second sounds like your flood control, it is probably set way too high, therefore preventing you from posting for 2 days...
Try lowering this (I would recommend 10 seconds), this can be done in acp-->General-->security-- >Find flood control, change the number in the box to '10' or whatever you want it to be. Click save.
Hope this helps,
-Brandon

Re: Posting issues
Hi Brandon
Thanks for your help, I will read the topic link you posted, I searched for topics related before starting this one, but couldnt find anything. I have the flood control set to 10secs, always has been, dont know why its giving me this message now. I read the post you gave a link for, at least I know what is happening, I have instructed members to use their back arrow and their post is still there so thats working for now. I find its taking me up to 6 tries to get a message to post for me but thats ok, I will wait it out. Once again, thanks for your help

Re: Posting issues
May you post A screenshot of the message you get when you try to post (not refering to your request timed out, I am quite familar that annoying message myself, rather i am refering to you and your members not being able to post 2 days)?

Re: Posting issues
Hello
Could you please provide a screenshot?
Do you have this problem only when you post a new topic or also while sending PM, replying a message...?
Thanks for your help

Hello
Did you check this option AP>>General>>Security:
It looks like you've posted too fast. We have a flood control system to avoid spamming.
Let me know

Re: Posting issues
Its not happening today, it was happening on the first post of the day I did and any others, so its not from posting too fast as I hadnt posted previously. Hopefully its ok now, it was happening almost every post, getting one message or the other but today there has been nothing.
